Artist Bio:
Janese Deitch, originally from San Diego, graduated from Marymount University and is a self-taught landscape oil painter. She worked in advertising as a media planner/buyer and settled in Dallas. She began painting in 2007 and has continued to learn and evolve as a painter while raising her four children. She draws inspiration from her travels through out Europe, Canada and trips to America’s most beautiful landscapes, including the 40 National Parks she has visited so far.

Artist Statement:
I feel peace and gratitude when in nature and express that feeling with my art. I'm inspired by natural landscapes, color and form. I paint for the love of painting; the process and how it allows me to disconnect with everything except for what’s in front of me at that moment. Painting is a lifetime pursuit filled with challenges, discovery and joy.

I’m also passionate about helping children and those less fortunate and enjoy being able to donate all proceeds from my art to charities that help children and families, such as North Texas Food Bank, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and Incarnation House. As I continue to grow and develop my style, Follow me on Instagram @janesedeitchpaints.
